I wanted to share with you ladies this outfit I wore this past weekend, I kept it very simple with this look. This post is meant to emphasize the fact that sometimes less is more. To quote fashion icon Coco Chanel, "Simplicity is the key note of all true elegance." The key to a simple, yet stylish outfit, is to pick one base color and work to fill out the rest of the outfit. As you can see for this look my base color was light blue I wanted it to pop, so I added these black high waist pants. I didn't add much accessories, as I wanted to achieve the cleanness look possible.

Well let's jump right into HAPPY NEW YEAR! We Have made it to 2017 can you believe it? what a year it has been! From the good, the bad, and the ugly leave the negativity behind. I always find a sense of renewal and inspiration whenever a new year rolls around. Life is all about evaluation and we should constantly be becoming a better versions of ourselves. I encourage anyone that is thinking about starting anything to go for it follow your dreams. Let's make 2017 a fashionable year!
Anyways I like to look back and reflect on the year that it was includes revisiting the top fashion trends of the year that I saw, wore and loved! Last year I did a post dedicating it to my favorite outfits of 2015, and I decided to do it again this year for 2016. I will be linking all the details down below.
In 2016 old fashion trends were revived from chokers, knee high boots, oversized tees, off the shoulder tops, and velvet these fashion trends definitely marked the year, and many are here to stay well into 2017!
